It was just a fitting option for a brief pause in Portland with excellent value for money. The windows were open during our stay and the room was a comfortable temperature thanks to the cool rain. Consider asking about parking availability, especially on busy nights.

Couple’s Comfort with a Twist
The hotel was beautifully furnished and had a large, comfortable porch seating area. Breakfast was homemade, and Linda's company.
It wasn't exactly a bargain but for what we got, it was tolerable.

Hosts Jim and Linda create a welcoming atmosphere, enhancing the overall experience. The fully furnished property features a cozy breakfast area where local fish was served, adding a special touch to the meal. On the downside, the street parking can be a challenge, and the rooms could benefit from a little more sound insulation. Additionally, the shared bathroom was occasionally inconvenient during peak morning hours, but overall, the stay was enjoyable.

Cozy environment with charming decor made our stay feel welcoming right away. The inviting porch provided a perfect spot for relaxation after a long day of exploring.
Location isn’t ideal for quick access to attractions, being a good drive away, though not too far. The road noise at night from traffic and emergency vehicles could disrupt sleep, which may not bother some, but it was noticeable. Breakfast options lacked variety and attention to dietary restrictions, as meals didn't always account for preferences communicated in advance, resulting in some meals being quite basic.
